Psychotherapy with Janna

ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate (MC61468088) and I completed my Masters in Forensic Mental Health and Counseling from John Jay College - C.U.N.Y. in New York City. I practice psychodynamically and psychoanalytically.

I began my career in community mental health, working with adults from a wide-spectrum of backgrounds and unique challenges. Now in private practice, I continue my dedication to my community and treatment with diverse populations.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Psychoanalytic and psychodynamic based therapy is treatment rooted in the belief that past experiences, unconscious thoughts, and internal conflicts significantly shape behavior and emotional well-being. With my guidance and curiosity, together we will bring forward what feels inaccessible and embrace its meaning and impact. By addressing the underlying forces within rather than focusing solely on symptoms, lasting resilience and emotional clarity have space to develop.

Services and Fees

I offer individual psychotherapy. Sessions run for 50-minutes and clients are seen at a minimum of once a week, with the option to increase sessions. I prefer in-person sessions located at my office in Seattle, WA. I offer virtual sessions on a case-by-case basis.

I do not take insurance and clients pay out-of-pocket. My rate is $140 for an individual session and $160 for a couples or family therapy session. I can draft a superbill to be submitted to insurance for potential reimbursement.
